Lots and lots of red velvet in this post! Although, it may seem my spending/shoe ban has been a complete fail, I can promise you it's not. The dress and bralet were ordered online before I set myself the ban and they both came to well under £30 together, which I could not say no to. Fringing and velvet are both very close to my heart, as you may know. I will admit the coat and velvet brogues came afterwards though, so maybe a I failed, slightly. I've wanted the coat since I started working for UO last year (you may have seen it in my wishlist post here, but £110 even with discount on top was more than I was willing to pay as I had already bought an expensive coat this year. However, it went in the sale last week to £50 and with my discount it came to £30, which is a crazy price for a £110 coat! Unfortunately they didn't have a small left online, so I opted for a medium. It's a little roomy, but I figured I can fit jumpers underneath it to keep me cosy! I'm unsure on whether to keep or sell the shoes on as I'm feeling awfully guilty for buying them even though they were only £22.
I watched "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" for the first time and found it horrifying and actually genuinely a little bit scary. Gossip Girl did however, partially lighten the mood for me this week. Those of you who follow me on Twitter are probably sick of me whinging about the whole Chuck & Blair situation. I'm honestly completely besotted with the both of them and I must spend about 60% of my time daydreaming about how they might rekindle their love in the near future. It's quite tragic, really.
Southampton was one of the few corners of the country completely untouched by snow. I must admit the inner child in me was rather gutted as I wanted to go through a stroll around the harbour as it's beautiful when it's covered in snow. Luckily, to lighten my mood about the lack of snow the return of the Creme Egg made me week. In answer to the question to 'How do you eat yours?!', I eat mine with a cup of tea!
Great pictures!
