Jacket*: c/o Waiste // Dress: Charity Shop, £2.50 // Headband: Topshop Sale, £4.50 // Glasses: Camden Market, £5 // Necklace*: c/o Chelsea Doll // Shoes: Urban Outfitters Sale, £6 (w/ staff discount)
I can't believe I've only just got around to posting about this jacket. It's pretty much stuck to my back with superglue as I have worn it literally every single day since it arrived on my doorstep! It's been so well made and lovingly crafted by the wonderfully, talented Sara and it always draws heaps on compliments whenever I wear it. I'm tempted to put my pennies towards a second Waiste jacket because they're so well made and unique. Maybe a darker colour for the winter months?
I picked up this dress today from my local charity shop for just £2.50! I really couldn't wait to wear it, so I changed into it straight away. I love the aztec inspired pattern and little embellishments. It does have a rather annoying high rise split at the sides which means I have to wear a plain body con skirt underneath to conceal my dignity. It seems to go perfectly with the shoes I picked up from the UO sale last week. These shoes are certainly a love-hate situation. I, myself, adore them, but then again I have a tendency to fall for 'ugly' shoes. I was supposed to be going off to Reading Festival today, but decided to bail out and sell my ticket. I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself at the moment, because I'm starting to regret the decision of selling my ticket. I plan on eating my emotions tonight to help me get over the fact that tonight I'm not covered in mud, stuck in a tiny tent with a ridiculous amount of cider.
wow, loving the jacket!! xx

the dress is so good! i can see how the slit might get annoying but i think it makes it just a little bit different too. i love the waiste jackets, they're so beautiful - I want one! love how all the prints are just slightly aztec-y in their own way.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this jacket, the detail on the back is stunning. This headband looks great on you too.

ReplyDeleteAh I love this outfit! You hair looks absolutely gorgeous and I love all these prints together xxx
ReplyDeleteperfect combination :) hair looks amazing too! I never think to put a bodycon under my dresses that have slits up the side (a lot) I usually put my velvet shorts on, but they make a line where the waistband is, which really annoys me-so I'm taking your great tip and getting a body con! YAY! xx
ReplyDeleteThis dress is really quite unique I love it!
ReplyDeleteLoving the sunglasses! I can't quite pull them off without looking like John Lennon, so much respect to you, lady!
