Shirt: Gift from Sara // Cycling Shorts: New Look, £4 // Shoes: Vans via Schuh, £40
The lovely Sara over at WAISTE kindly sent me this wonderful, vintage shirt around a month back as a gift. I've worn it so much since receiving it but have only just had the time to photograph it. Oversized, printed, vintage shirts are always a 'go to' for me as they're just so easy to throw on with a pair of black tights. However, the sun was shining at the weekend, so I decided to brave my bare legs by teaming it with my trusty lace trim cycling shorts. I'm steadily getting more confident in baring my legs as I've always been horribly self conscious of them. I also decided to pop my hair up in a aide ponytail with my beloved blue velvet scrunchie trying to re-create a 90's look. I think everyone should repurchase a scrunchie. They just instantly have an effect that will make you happy and picture being a child again... or maybe that's just me?!
I bought the gold chain necklace from the Matalan sale for just £2. In fact, it's the second one I've bought. I misplaced the first one after just one wear and couldn't find it for weeks, so I bought another one only to find the original one the next day under a pile of clothes. Now I have two! On Thursday I met up with Robyn in Winchester in where we did a bit of charity shopping and had a picnic in the park whilst watching the Olympics on the big screen outside the cathedral. All in all, it was a perfect day. I'll be gutted when the Olympics is over, but I'm really looking forward to the closing ceremony tonight! THE SPICE GIRLS! Ahhhhh! Will you be watching?
ah you look great!
