London Fashion Week Street Style 19/02 Part #1

Ever since Friday I have spent 90% of my time trawling through photos upon photos, blog posts upon blog posts and watching shows upon shows of London Fashion Week whilst no so silently moping to myself that I wasn't there. Last night, after a long day on a shoot and suffering with a sickness bug I decided that if I was feeling better this morning I was going to trek it up to London to soak in the atmosphere at Somerset House on it's final day. I was rather nervous as I was originally supposed to be going with my housemate but unfortunately she couldn't make it, so I went there entirely solo. I was even a little doubtful about going this morning and the urge to stay in bed was overwhelming. However, I did manage to pluck up the courage and jump on a train to London.

My main priority whilst at Somerset House was to make some street style sketches as I'm at an absolute dead end with my Final Major Project at University, so I hoped leaving Southampton for a few hours would send some inspiration my way (which it did!), however I couldn't not take a few street style snaps to share with you whilst I was there.




The courtyard was alive with a variety of style from around the globe. Noticeable key trends were bright, eye-catching neon accessories (particularly beanies - I've promptly ordered one from eBay!), patterned two piece suits and white on white. Also, can we welcome the return of the platform shoe, which as you may know is a personal favourite of mine!






I took so many snaps that I've decided to break up the street style from the day into multiple parts rather than overly bombard you with images all in the one post. Look out for the rest of the street style photos from Somerset House to follow!
