Talk of lingerie seems to be such a taboo subject within style blogging and I don't quite understand why. We all wear it, in fact we wear it more frequently than probably any other garment in our wardrobe, so why the hush hush? I love pretty undies as much as the next girl, there's something about wearing beautiul underwear beneath your clothes that gives you that little more confidence in everyday life. I've made the conscience decision to throw away underwear now on an annual basis. Too long have I clung to my favourite Topshop bra that I've had since I was sixteen years old that has finally seen the end after one too many rounds in the washing machine.
I've actually struggled to find nice underwear on the high street recently though. I've always been surprisingly fond of H&M's selection over the likes of La Senza which seems to have gone downhill and Ann Summers, which seems to cater more so for ladies with a let's say 'fuller bust'. In my search though I've discovered ASOS have a great selection of lingerie. I've picked some of my favourites from their current collection above and linked them underneath. Do you have any recommendations on where to shop for underwear?
I bought the middle top asos bra and thong and it's so nice! I don't usually wear ones without any shape but it's really nice. And it comes in a 30 inch back! nothing wrong with beautiful lingerie xo
ReplyDeleteI love the underwear available on Asos, I wish that poppy red set were still available - it's gorgeous. I had a set in my saved list for ages that was just like the top middle, but sadly the bra has sold out now as it was about half the price of the new one. The cream lace one is divine! xxx
ReplyDeleteBeauty girls and fine lingerie.

Boux Avenue is great for gals like me who are quite busty but for a splurge I love Simone Perele! I have two sets from them and they fit wonderfully and are very simple and sexy! I love the longer line bras, I really want one and love high street lingerie but they're no good for bigger busts :( pretty picks though girl x
ReplyDeleteI love Asos lingerie! I know what you mean about the taboo of lingerie.. which is why I blog about it as much as I do fashion haha! It's just an extension of fashion in my eyes. Whats the point of wearing a nice outfit with crappy knickers underneath?!
