P R E V I E W | Zalando SS14 Press Day

A couple of weeks ago I attended the first UK press event and preview of online fashion retailer Zalando. Zalando stock a variety of brands from Motel to Michael Kors making it an ideal shopping destination no matter what your budget. The event itself was held at the W Hotel on Leicester Square in the Penthouse suite, which was a little different from press events I'm used to. The suite came complete with a fully-stocked back, a swinging chair, a rotating sofa and the biggest bed you've ever seen. In fact, the last person to have stayed in the suite was Leonardo DiCaprio after 'The Wolf of Wall Street' premiere in London. Pretty swish!

Upon exploring the suite we were able to view specially selected products from the upcoming season. One particular rail that caught everyone's eye was the botanical print garments that were designed in collaboration with style blogger Eleanor Carisi. Also I became quite attached to an aztec-inspired, longline, tapestry jacket, which I cannot seem to get out of my head ever since parting ways with it. I just wish I could remember the name of the designer! Also, just how perfect are those white leather mary janes?!
