ASOS Sequin Dress of Dreams

There's a sequin dress and then there's a f*ckin' sequin dress that every mermaid's dreams are made of. This is the latter.

If you team a great dress and some kick ass boots, there's no need to accessorise. When pairing these Ted & Muffy blue suede, fringed boots with this killer, sequin maxi dress they pretty much speak for themselves. I originally ordered this sensational sequin dream dress for the Tenerife Carnaval , but 'unfortunately' it was just too hot to wear whilst we were there. I can't pretend I was upset about the incredibly warm weather though.

I did find that the fit on this dress isn't particularly flattering to my pear-shaped body, as it sits perfectly on my hips but is far too baggy from my waist upwards. Although I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dress with all my heart and more, it would be better fitting for someone with a more petite frame.

I'm pretty obsessed with my new Ted & Muffy blue, fringed Oriole boots too. They're an incredibly, striking shad of electric blue with an excess of tasseled, western fringing decorating the side of the boot. I think it's safe to say they're a showstopper, don't you?
